Refund Policy

In short: registrations, sponsorships, and contributions support the youth in our communities, so they are generally non-refundable. We will always correct mistakes, and we will refund you if we cancel the event.
Contributions
Contributions are gifts to a charity and are not refundable, except when made in error as described below.
Golf, reception, and sponsorships
- Registrations and sponsorships are non-refundable once paid.
- If you can't attend, you may transfer your spot to someone else. Email or call us with their name before the event.
- If weather or course conditions shorten or change the golf, payments are not refunded. If we cancel the whole event, the next section applies.
If we cancel or postpone the event
- If the Foundation cancels the event, we will refund golf, reception, and sponsorship payments in full. If you prefer, you can ask us to keep the payment as a contribution instead.
- If we postpone the event, your registration carries over to the new date. If you can't attend the new date, you can ask for a refund.
- Contributions made at the same time are not affected unless you ask us.
Mistakes and duplicate charges
If you were charged twice, charged the wrong amount, or made a contribution by mistake, contact us as soon as possible and we will refund the error.
Sold-out or unavailable items
If we accepted a payment for something we can't provide, such as a golf spot after the event filled up, we will refund that item in full.
Pay-by-check registrations
If you registered to pay by check and can no longer attend, let us know and we will cancel the registration. If your check has already arrived, the rules above apply.
How refunds are made
- Card payments are refunded to the original card through Stripe. Depending on your bank, a refund can take 5 to 10 business days to appear.
- Check payments are refunded by check to the address on your registration.
- A refunded amount is no longer a tax-deductible contribution, and we will note the refund in our records.
