Terms and Conditions

In short: these terms apply when you use this website or register, sponsor, or contribute through it. You accept them when you tick the agreement box on the registration form.
About these terms
jackdevitofoundation.org is operated by The Jack DeVito Foundation, Inc. ("the Foundation", "we", "us"), a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. These terms apply to your use of the website and to every registration, sponsorship, and contribution made through it. Our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Cookie Policy are part of these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not register through this website.
Registrations and payments
- Prices are in U.S. dollars and are shown on the registration form. Our server calculates the amount you are charged from our published prices.
- Card payments are processed by Stripe. By paying, you confirm that you are authorized to use the card.
- A card registration is confirmed when your payment succeeds and we send your confirmation email.
- If you choose to pay by check, we hold your registration while we wait for your check. Please mail it by the date shown on the registration page. We may release the registration if payment does not arrive.
- Space is limited. Items shown as sold out cannot be purchased. If we accept a registration that we cannot fulfill, for example because the event is full, we will tell you and refund the payment for that item.
- We may decline or cancel a registration that is fraudulent, abusive, or made in error. Any payment for it will be refunded.
Sponsorships and signs
- Sponsor benefits are as described on the registration page when you purchase.
- You are responsible for the wording of your sponsor sign. It must be accurate, and you must have the right to use any names, business names, or trademarks in it.
- We may decline wording that is offensive or misleading, or that infringes someone else's rights. If we do, we will contact you to agree on new wording, or refund the sponsorship if we cannot agree.
Attending the event
- Guests must follow the venue's rules and the directions of event and venue staff.
- Golf is a physical activity with inherent risks, including being struck by balls or clubs and golf cart accidents. You take part voluntarily and are responsible for your own conduct and for playing safely.
- Alcohol is served only to guests 21 and older. Please drink responsibly and never drive impaired.
- The schedule, format, or venue may change because of weather or other circumstances beyond our control. We will tell registered guests about significant changes. Our Refund Policy explains what happens if the event is canceled or postponed.
Tax deductibility
The Jack DeVito Foundation, Inc. is exempt from federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (EIN 13-3826930). Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
When a payment includes goods or services, such as golf, meals, or the reception, generally only the part of the payment that exceeds the fair market value of those goods or services is deductible. Please ask your tax advisor how this applies to you.
Using this website
- Please don't misuse the site. For example, don't try to interfere with it, get around its security or bot checks, submit false registrations, or collect information about other people.
- The Foundation's name, logo, and website content belong to the Foundation or its licensors. Please don't copy them for commercial purposes without our written permission.
- This site relies on third-party services, such as Stripe for payments and Cloudflare for hosting, which have their own terms.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
We work to keep the information on this site accurate, but it is provided "as is" and may change. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Foundation is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of this site or from a registration. Our total liability for any claim relating to a registration is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Westchester County, New York.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted when you register applies to that registration.
